The tour includes the following: a bilingual guide, boat transportation, snacks, and lunch.

Important things to bring: sunscreen, water, sunglasses, appropriate clothing to help protect you from the sun, a hat or cap, and something to take photographs with.

We depart by boat to the Sierpe-Térraba mangroves. The duration of the tour is normally about 5 hours, returning around 1:30 PM. During the tours, the guide will provide a review of the tour with interpretations of the local flora and fauna. The routes go through different channels of the Sierpe River and its tributaries.

There will be strategic stops for bathroom breaks. This tour will give you the opportunity to observe a large number of birds that inhabit these ecosystems, such as ibises, herons, egrets, kingfishers, ospreys, as well as other wildlife species such as crocodiles, caimans, freshwater turtles, snakes, monkeys, including the famous squirrel monkey, and other species that inhabit this particular ecosystem.
